On July 24, 2024 EPAL's Asia's first QR Code Pallet Manufacturing Pioneer Program opened in Shandong Lujie Packaging Group Co. Shandong Lujie Packaging Group (license number CN-051), which joined EPAL in 2017 and was successfully upgraded to a Premium Licensee in 2021, has been selected for this Pioneer Program based on its unique information technology background, rich experience in production and maintenance operations, and diversified mechanical work scenarios.EPAL's QR Code Pallets have been officially launched in Europe this year. Based on the production situation in China, the Pioneer Program is working together with printing equipment suppliers, production equipment manufacturers and EPAL's headquarters in Germany to discuss and develop integrated solutions.

The project team visited Rujie Packaging's automatic production line equipment for Euro pallets in the factory and discussed the design and installation of inkjet printing equipment related to EPAL's intelligent Euro pallets.

In the afternoon, members of the project team connected with Mr. Michael Brandt, head of the technical department at EPAL's European Pallet Association headquarters, via teleconference, and exchanged information on the installation of the inkjet printing equipment and the cost of the related materials, the feasibility of reading QR codes for smart pallets and the related software to be used in China, the anti-counterfeiting system of QR code inkjet printing and the current production status of EPAL's smart EURO-pallets in Europe. The current production status of EPAL Intelligent Euro pallets in Europe was exchanged.

After the meeting, members of the project team expressed their satisfaction with the results of this factory visit and members' communication, and will design relevant programs and conceptual animations as soon as possible, implement the testing of inkjet printing and branding head and the original production line of the factory, and make every effort to promote the landing of the 2D Code Pioneer Project.
